  • "CAN I STAND ON MY HEAD AND WHISTLE "YANKEE DOODLE" IN MY PICTURE IF I WANT?"

Absolutely. Whatever floats your boat that is legal. Bring props, pets, sports equipment, musical instruments....it's your picture and I'm happy to attempt to capture what you're looking for.

  • "HOW LONG DOES A PORTRAIT SESSION LAST?"

Senior portraits can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. It is dependent on what you want and how long you can keep that smile on, haha. Of course, not all portraits are about the smile, right? Some seniors just want a quick "here and done, no time for this but want to please my mom" session and others prefer to take advantage of the opportunity to make the session a leisurely experience or an exciting America's-Next-Top-Model-type portfolio shoot. Either type of session is the same price. That's because 99% of the time the person wanting to get through this torture quick ends up thinking "this isn't so bad" and takes full advantage of a once in a lifetime picture.

Family portraits take longer and are not limited to 1.5 hours. Kids can be very cooperative or they can make parent's lives miserable. I'm always happy to wait it out for the best shots possible. That includes waiting for little Johnny to finish his lollipop we just bribed him with.

  • "CAN I BRING FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO MY SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION?"

Yes, if you need a little help with hair, makeup, wardrobe, props, energizing, etc. Everyone is welcome as long as you agree. Chances are I will put bystanders to work holding umbrellas and reflectors, though, so be warned.
As far as including family in picture-taking in front of the camera, I have found it to be distracting from the senior portrait to try to photograph family and senior portraits during same session. I can schedule back-to-back sessions (take all senior settings for private session first and then family joins in after senior session is complete). It is charged as two separate photo sessions. Discount pricing is available.

  • "DO YOU PROVIDE A STYLIST, HAIR, MAKE-UP, WARDROBE...FOR MY SHOOT?"

No. You are welcome to bring along any help you need in that department. I do try to keep a second pair of eyes going to avoid things like straps, collars turned under, spinach in the teeth, etc. This little mishap got by me but, hey, LG.
